Senior System-Level Software Engineer
Successful candidate will serve as a key member of the engineering team. Candidate must be able to perform architectural analysis & design at the system level. Candidate must be able to define, interpret and develop custom device drivers and system level software. Candidate will be required to coordinate with customers and members of Teligy’s engineering team to support development efforts. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation.

Required Skills

  • C/C++
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Superior problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience performing architectural definition, documentation, and development at the system level
  • Driver experience in one or more of the following areas: file system, multimedia (audio / graphics), communication, networking, HID, and filter drivers
  • Significant experience with one or more of the following:
    Windows, Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems

  • Experience with multiple Linux distributions
  • Embedded Linux development for a variety of platforms (ARM, MIPS, x86, PowerPC, etc) and board support packages
  • Kernel and architecture expertise
  • Strong user and kernel level debugging skills
  • Broad device driver development experience in one or more of the following areas: file system, multimedia (audio/graphics), communication, networking, HID, and filter drivers
  • Strong scripting skills
  • Experience with real time and multithreaded applications
  • Superior problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience performing architectural definition, documentation, and development at the system level
